SET/STAGE

We Will Bring:
  • 1 wooden table
  • 4 wooden matching chairs
  • Calcium carbonate for floor graphics/ dust effect
  • Overhead remote controlled system for dropping props & confetti
  • 1 breakaway stage bottle
  • 4 large golden picture frames.Approximate sizes:
    2 x 3m (6x9ft), 2 x 3m (6x9ft), 1.8 x 2.4m (5x8ft), 1.2 x 1.8m (4 x 5ft)

    Note: depending on cargo costs we may require you to build and paint these frames onsite in advance of our arrival

We Require:

  • Minimum 10 x 10m (33x33ft) dance space
  • Black dance floor on a level, sprung wooden floor
  • open sides/ back depending on “atmospheric” space or black backdrop/ wings
  • 1 riser, black covered, for musician to sit on with his cello, approx. 1 x 1.2m, 0,4m high (3x4x1,5ft). 1 x 2m can work if there is adequate offstage wing space
  • 2 dynamic rigging points upstage for acrobatic rope and bungee cord
    (dynamic load requirement 250 kg each, must be separate from lighting grid)
  • Appropriate cleaning tools for chalk powder

LIGHT
  • 48 channel board & 2kW dimmer
  • 13 floor stands incl. sides.
  • 3 lamps are next to the audience, and may cost two seats in the front row, depending on your exit path fire codes.
  • 10 stands for mid sides on 1,2m height
  • 1 2.5 m stand for one source four (right of audience)
  • Complete blackout must be provided at end of show (if necessary, emergency lights must be covered manually by staff)
  • Please provide L 201, L (HT)120, L 156, L (HT)195 and R 119
  • Experienced light personnel during setup times
  • We run light board ourselves. A good, unobstructed view of the stage is necessary.


We require the following lighting instruments or their equivalent:

  • 20 source four profiles 575 36°/ 50°  for 5 rows side lights
  • 10 source four profiles 575 36° / 50° or 1k (zoom) profile
  • 5 6 fresnel 500W
  • 9 fresnel 2kW (bdoors)
  • 11 20 fresnel 1kW (bdoors)
  • 1 8” fresnel 1kW
  • 1 6” fresnel 500W bdoors

Please e-mail plan of lighting grid, floor plan and side elevation view of stage and auditorium (preferred *.DWG) plus equipment inventory of your theatre to the Technical Director. Ý

Requirements are subject to changes due to the venue.

SOUND

We perform with a live musician with cello on the previously mentioned riser on stage.

We require the following sound equipment or it's equivalent:

  • 1 microphone on low level stand
  • 1 double cd player or 2 cd- players on stage. Professional quality CD players with no "play delay"
  • 1 cd player at FOH
  • 1 small 8 ch mixing board on stage(musician delivers stereo sum for Audience)
  • 2 monitors for stage
  • PA system appropriate to the space with full bass response and rich volume levels. Subwoofers may be necessary. Subject to approval of Musical Director.
  • 2 Direct boxes may be necessary to counter act system buzz
  • Experienced sound person during setup, dress rehearsal and show to control sound and level
  • Sound system must be available during rehearsal and warmup

SCHEDULE
 
Prior to our arrival dance floor must be laid, wings and backdrop prepared and grid cleared.

*Note that the show spreads a large amount of chalk dust and confetti over the entire stage. In our experience it requires one sweeping, one mopping with lightly soapy water, and then two moppings with clear water to return it to original condition, each night. 9.30pm

 

MISCELLANEOUS
 
House must remain closed to the public until 5 minutes prior to the beginning of the performance as perfomers must be in place before the public's entry. We require 7 1.5L bottles of water per day for the cast and crew.

We appreciate fresh coffee, fruit and fruit juices for the cast and crew each day.
